Occupational Therapy

Our licensed occupational therapists are highly-experienced and dedicated professionals whose focus is to assist patients achieve functional independence in activities of daily living. Under the direction of the physician, the occupational therapist provides the following services: 

  • Evaluation of therapy needs
  • Activities of daily living retraining, including bathing, dressing, meal preparation, feeding and homemaking
  • Upper extremity muscle re-education
  • Perceptual motor training
  • Fine motor coordination training
  • Neurodevelopmental treatment
  • Assistance with obtaining orthotic devices, adaptive equipment, and durable medical equipment
  • Patient and family education.
